Fishing in Alto Sarca
A short distance from Madonna di Campiglio, nestled at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites, the waters of the Alto Sarca are famed among fishermen, so much so that in 2018 they hosted the Fips- Mouche Fly Fishing World Championship.
Fishing between ehte Dolomites and the Garda area
Lake Garda, Lake Ledro, mountain lakes, or the Sarca area ... the Garda region offers numerous locations for fishing enthusiasts. You can fish for trout, chub, bleak, tench, brown trout, the highly prized and famed marble trout, barbel, pike, carp.
Fishing in the Avisio stream
Fish for marble and brown trout in the alpine waters of the Avisio stream. Its sources are located on the mountain of Marmolada, before descending through the Fassa, Fiemme and Cembra Valleys, and offers you a truly memorable fishing experience, immersed in nature and with access to a selection of wild fish species, with many native varieties.
Fishing in Val di Non
If you enjoy lake fishing this is the place to go! lago di Tovel (photo), lago di Santa Giustina and lago Smeraldo: three wonderful lakes embraced by the mountains. As an alternative you can always choose a spot along the Noce river or the Sporeggio torrent, both “no kill” zones.
Fishing in Val di Sole
Over 120 km of rivers and torrents and 12 mountain lakes where you’ll find marbled trout, river trout and arctic char: this is the Val di Sole! In this area, we suggest the the Le Marinolde reserve (booking recommended) which straddles the Stelvio National Park along the Rabbies torrent.
Fishing in Vallagarina
Here too we’re not far from the city of Trento, we move however south of the provincial capital along the banks of the Adige river. From the towns of Calliano and Terragnolo and as far as Borghetto there are three “no kill” fishing areas, perfect for fly fishing. If you’d prefer a lake, we recommend the Bacino San Colombano, not far from Rovereto.
Fishing in Valle del Chiese
There’s a corner of Trentino that calls Canada to mind: it’s the Val di Fumo, in the upper Val Daone and at the head of the Adamello glacier. Here it’s possible to fish in an incredible natural setting, in the waters of the Chiese river (photo) or on lake Roncone, renowned for its pike fishing.
Fishing in Val di Fiemme
The perfect place for fly fishing enthusiasts, thanks to the clear waters where you’ll find both marbled and river trout. The best locations are along the Avisio river or in the canyon formed by the Travignolo torrent. Where it comes to lakes, we recommend the Lago Lagorai (from June to September).
