In Cavalese, in the Sissi dining room in the La Stua restaurant, time seems to have stood still, amid a cosy atmosphere of wood panelling and Trentino majolica ceramics. This is Jngrid Vanzo’s restaurant, and she’s inherited the pride and passion of her parents, which she continues to honour in both her cuisine, and the spirit of the place itself. Reworkings of traditional Trentino recipes with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an obsessive attention to detail. The wine list contains around 100 labels, all personally selected by the house sommelier.
