The Japanese have always celebrated forest immersion. They call it “Shinrin-yoku”, meaning “forest bathing”. Here in Trentino, you can combine this Oriental practice with barefoot walking, or the Kneipp path in the cold water of the streams. And with an outdoor yoga session with a view of the Brenta Dolomites.

Forest bathing, Paganella

The Japanese call it “Shinrin-yoku” (forest bathing). You immerse yourself in the woods and walk very slowly for hours. Experience this at Parco del Respiro in Fai della Paganella, a vast forest full of Norway spruces, pine trees, larches, but mostly beech trees, which more than the others, release beneficial plant substances.
