Museo Guerra Fronte Adamello - Recuperanti in Rendena

The story of the Great War on the Adamello-Presanella group narrated by the objects the glacier has given back: from war materials to sleds. An unmissable collection for those who love history and the stories that have made it great.
This museum tells the story of the Great War and its dead by making the glaciers speak, which over the years have returned war materials, personal belongings, clothes, sleds and skis. Opened in 1973 by two enthusiasts, Giovanni Pellizzari and Sergio Collini, the Museo Guerra Fronte Adamello "Recuperanti in Val Rendena" also displays documents, photographs and books on the First World War. The museum is part of the Rete Trentino Grande Guerra (Trentino Great War Network) and collaborates with neighbouring museums in the area. The exhibition venue was expanded and renovated with the inauguration of the second floor in 2018, today offering an even more complete and articulated museum itinerary.
