From Piam del Keserle to Rifugio Lancia via Malga Zocchi and Monte Testo

Trenches, galleries, views over the Vallarsa and the Piccole Dolomiti

The route crosses a suggestive beech forest and then a meadow dominated by the characteristic buildings of Malga Zocchi. From the top of Monte Testo, the relief located just behind the hut, on clear days the view stretches over the wide panorama that from east to west includes the highest peaks of Monte Pasubio: the Italian and Austro-Hungarian Teeth, Cima Palon, the Piccole Dolomiti, the chain overlooking the Vallarsa including Cima Levante and Monte Zugna, up to admiring in the distance Monte Altissimo and the Monte Telegrafo chain, located between Lake Garda and the Adige Valley. Just below the summit of Monte Testo, the Austro-Hungarian army carved a complex of galleries and shelters of considerable interest which, now cleared of debris that partially blocked access thanks to the work of the S.A.T. members of Rovereto, is of great interest.
