From the Regole di Malosco locality, continue to the La Monteson Restaurant and then take the SAT 508 trail that leads first to the Malga di Malosco and then climbs to the summit of Mount Penegal. The itinerary is on a forest road in the forest and does not have steep inclines apart from a first short stretch.
We continue along the forest road with SAT508 trail markers until we reach the summit of Mount Penegal: the view from up here opens to the entire Adige Valley.
For the return journey you head north, this time following the SAT500 marker that alternates between stretches near the ridge and stretches in the forest and then descends steeply to Folrcolana.
