Primiero Slow Tour 2nd leg (Passo Cereda - Rifugio Caltena)
Second leg of the trek: From Rifugio Cereda at Passo Cereda to Rifugio Caltena through Pale Alte and Monte Padella.
Take the Trail Nr. 729 from Passo Cereda to Malga Fossetta, where you can also have lunch during the summer, then continue on Trail Nr. 723 to Col Spiz, until you reach the Forest Road leading to Domadoi. Right before reaching Domadoi, you’ll find the entry point to Trail Nr. 744, which goes into the forest to the left. Continue on Trail Nr. 744 until you reach a trail intersection. <p>Continue on the left (Trail Nr. 744), you’ll reach Croce del Monte Padella (1 850 Mt. AMSL). Hike forth on the opposite side of the mountain then walk downhill on Trail Nr. 744, until you reach Rifugio Caltena.</p> <p>This option is more difficult but also more beautiful than the other one, as you’ll enjoy a 360-degrees panoramic view from Monte Padella on the entire valley, from the Pale di San Martino to the Lagorai Range, the Vette Feltrine and the nearby Gruppo del Cimonega.</p>
