A fun route with breathtaking views that can challenge those who want to train with a muscular MTB.
A circular route that lines up the most beautiful places in this corner of Val di Non on the border with South Tyrol: the lakes of Ruffrè, the incredible view from the top of Mount Penegal, and the large sunny meadows with the typical restaurants of the Regole di Malosco.

Rely on the GPX because in some sections this route takes trail paths without signage.Roadbook
Starting from the flaming lakes of Ruffrè, take the trail which passes near a beautiful stream under the shade of tree branches, leading to the Mendola Pass through the forest and a section of bike path.
Once at Mendola Pass, it is possible to take a short detour of about 100m to reach the panoramic terrace overlooking the Adige valley. From here, continue on the paved road that leads to the summit of Mount Penegal. At the top, there is another panoramic point where you can see all the Dolomites starting from the Corno dello Scilliar right in front.
Continue along a stretch of dirt road and then turn onto a short, medium-easy difficulty single track immersed in the forest on the northwest slope that emerges onto a forest road. Staying immersed in the forest, continue on forest roads until reaching the wide and bright flat clearing of the Regole di Malosco.
From there, continue southwards on the forest road to return to the lakes of Ruffrè.
