Scenic route through woods and cultivated fields of the Val di Gresta
The route starts from the settlement of <b>Mori Vecchio</b> ascending through a sparse oak forest along the historic Lasta route. <p>Along the way, you will encounter the beautiful <b>chapel of Santa Apollonia</b> (17th century), with a splendid view over the plain of <a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/scopri/territorio/val-di-gresta-distretto-bio-del-trentino/mori-tra-rovereto-e-il-garda/">Mori</a>, Monte Baldo, and Zugna. Continuing, you will reach the characteristic villages of <b>Manzano</b> and <b>Nomesino</b> in <a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/scopri/territorio/val-di-gresta-distretto-bio-del-trentino/">Val di Gresta</a>. Here, the houses are made of tuff stone of volcanic origin with stone window lintels as well as wood and wooden balconies, typical features of <b>Pre-Alpine architecture</b>.</p> <p>The walk continues until the <a href="http://www.visitrovereto.it/scopri/chiese-e-luoghi-sacri/santuario-di-montalbano/">Sanctuary of Montalbano</a>, which with its majestic <b>clock</b> dominates the town of Mori.</p> <p>A scenic itinerary, ideal in mid-seasons and sunny winters. Suitable for everyone with a minimum of training.</p>

Route without particular technical difficultiesAs you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is strictly linked to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before setting out, check the condition of the route by contacting the managers of the refuges along your path, alpine guides, visitor centers of natural parks, and tourist offices.
Roadbook
Along the way, you will encounter the chapel of Santa Apollonia before reaching the villages of Manzano and Nomesino in Val di Gresta. From here, on flat and then descending terrain (trail marker 670) on a country road and path, you will reach the Sanctuary of Montalbano, just above the village of Mori.
From the sanctuary, you can return to the starting point in an hour and a half.

Directions
From Rovereto follow signs for Lake Garda (SS 240) towards Mori. Pass the traffic light and after about 800 m turn right onto Via Capitania. Upon reaching Via San Giovanni, turn left onto Via della Lasta. The parking lot is easy to locate near the last houses of the village (presence of trail markers and an information board).Parking
