Festival Confluenze

The Sustainable Tourism Festival – 6th Edition

The Valle dei Laghi hosts, for the sixth year, the Confluenze Festival – the Festival of Sustainable Tourism.

A journey through sustainable food and wine traditions

Sustainability is now a defining value for communities: a key asset to enhance local identity and a cultural choice that highlights the most authentic and genuine aspects of a place.
Food and wine tourism plays a strategic role in this process. It strengthens the attractiveness of a destination and the reputation of local products, generates widespread economic value and new opportunities for both tourism and agriculture, and supports the preservation and promotion of culinary heritage, while improving food quality and safety.
Food is also a powerful way to express and share traditions. It becomes a journey that brings people closer to different cultures, habits and ways of life, going beyond taste to reveal what lies behind each dish, enriched by encounters and cultural exchange.

At the Maso Canova educational farm, workshops are dedicated to discovering animals, forests and vegetable gardens, combined with immersive nature experiences and art therapy activities.
The programme also includes hands-on workshops on bread making at Azienda Agricola Tonelli in Vezzano and cheese production at Azienda Agricola Gostner in Drena, offering an opportunity to explore traditional skills.
Activities are suitable for both children and adults and take place on different days throughout the festival.

In the Valle dei Laghi, we are proud of a heritage of flavors rooted in a genuine world that has preserved the knowledge, rituals, and impressions of rural life and culture.
