Val di Fassa Running

The Val di Fassa Running stage race returns from 21 to 26 June 2026, with five trail running stages across the most scenic corners of Val di Fassa, totalling around 45 km through woods, alpine meadows and the Dolomites. Open to both competitive runners and walkers, participants can enter the full event or individual stages. The race kicks off with an evening stage in Canazei and culminates with a mountain finish at Passo San Pellegrino. A dedicated route for walkers and a mid-week youth race complete the programme.

Marcialonga Cycling Craft

Marcialonga Cycling Craft is a gran fondo cycling race held on Sunday 31 May 2026 through the Dolomites of Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa, and one of the key fixtures on the Italian gran fondo circuit. The weekend also includes a Saturday programme with the Marcialonga Bike Experience — open to gravel, e-bike and MTB riders — alongside a Minicycling event for younger participants.

UCI Mountain Bike World Championships: a land where champions become legends

The great spectacle of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships returns to the iconic setting of Daolasa, Val di Sole - Trentino, for the first time since 2021. From August 26th to 30th, 2026, prepare for a week of high-octane excitement and adrenaline, featuring world-class performances and feats that will go down in history. The world’s top mountain bike athletes will compete across all disciplines, from the Team Relay and Short Track to Cross Country, Four-cross, and Downhill.

Dolomiti Palaronda Trek

A high-altitude trekking adventure: a journey through rock and silence, with overnight stays in mountain huts on the Pale di San Martino, between 1,800 and 2,500 metres. Tours lasting from 4 to 6 days on marked trails can be tackled independently (with proper training and equipment) or with an Alpine Guide. Many variations are available, with or without via ferratas.

Parco del Respiro Europe’s first therapeutic park

In Fai della Paganella, a vast beech forest is home to the first Italian wellness park dedicated to the practice of forest bathing, complete with a genuine Forest Therapy path – a “therapeutic park for well-being”. Here, forests and trees are used to improve the mental, emotional, sensory, chemical and energy conditions of the park’s visitors. This innovation is based on a detailed study conducted by Marco Nieri, bio-researcher and eco-design expert, and Marco Mencagli, an agronomist specialising in the design and maintenance of public and private parks.

Castle Train is back

Trentino is not just a land of mountains and alpine lakes: perched on rocky spurs or nestled on gentle hills, dozens of castles have dominated its valleys for centuries, each with its own story and legends. One of the most original ways to discover them is to board the Castle Train (Trenino dei Castelli). This special train departs from Trento every Saturday from June 6 to September 5 2026, travelling through Val di Sole and Val di Non to visit four castles in a single day with breakfast, a sit-down lunch and wine tastings featuring local products included along the way.
