Bondo is located in the Central Giudicarie valley, a quiet and hospitable morainal area on the watershed between the basin of Sarca and Chiese rivers and at the watersmeet of the Fiana stream with Arnò.
Its position close to the Adamello Brenta Nature Reserve, offers a wide range of hiking opportunities. From the village you can reach the Gavardina chain (Alpi di Ledro), and other peaks nearby, such as the Carè Alto (3462 m a.s.l.), Cop di Breguzzo (2997 m), Danerba (2910 m); Cima d´Arnò (2849 m) and Cima Valbona (2889 m).
Worth visiting is the Medieval Church of San Bartolomeo, which was restyled during the Baroque Age and is located in the historical town-centre.
