Bosentino

Located at 700 metres above sea level and just like many other towns in the Vigolana Plateau, Bosentino is a flourishing terrace overlooking Lake Caldonazzo. The town is just a few kilometres away from Trento and offers visitors spectacular views, as well as accommodation mostly on a private basis.
Bosentino and the outlying administrative division of Migazzone have kept all the features of an ancient town: houses decorated with stone portals and balconies as well as the rural Trentino-region architecture.

The beauty of the area and its surroundings can be enjoyed on walks to the sanctuary of the Madonna del Feles, the Castle of Vigolo at the foot of the Marzola and towards Pergine Valsugana, above Lake Caldonazzo.

All 60 km of Vigolana Plateau can be visited by enjoying its themed, historical, sensory, tasting and working-out tracks (mountain-bike or horseback riding, or nordic walking). Throughout the changing seasons, festivals organized in the area match its berry and chestnut harvests, as well as its wine, honey and cheese manufacturing.
