Primiero - Siror
The northenmost of the six villages included in Primiero district, Siror is perched on the slopes of Sass Maor, one of the peaks of the Pale di San Martino group. The village is surrounded by wide fields and woods, which are criss-crossed by dozens of paths for easy walks. From Ronzi, Polina and Petina you can admire an extraordinary view of the valley of Primiero.
Siròr is located inside the Parco Naturale Paneveggio Pale di San Martino nature reserve.
Siror too can boast ancient origins, and prides itself on a historic centre featuring big polygonal stone fountains and rural frescoes on the houses' façade. Not to be missed, at Christmas time, the typical Christmas markets, and, at the end of summer, the Gran festa del desmontegar, a special parade gathered in Siror before moving on to the other Primiero villages.
