Lying on a wide terrace surrounded by age-old chestnut trees, Torcegno is the ideal location for those in search of tranquillity. The many trails and routes which cross the gorgeous hidden valleys of Suerta, Musiera, Cavè and Porchera are perfect for walks through meadows, Alpine summer pastures and skilfully refurbished farmhouses scattered in the area.
Special mention goes to the Centro Natura e Trekking Lagorai (Lagorai Hiking and Nature Centre) in Malga Valarica, which is located above 1703 m. It is the first stop of a network of hiking trails, which use Alpine farmhouses scattered throughout the Lagorai as their bases.
