AL PASSO PRINCIPE
Information
The Rifugio Passo Principe was rebuilt (piece by piece) in 2008 entirely out of wood by a father and son team (both mountain guides). They will be happy to accompany you along the footpaths, via ferratas and mountain routes of the Catinaccio and help you discover its secrets. But you don’t need to have ambitions to be a rock climber to appreciate the sweeping views, colours and starry skies that can be enjoyed from this small but friendly refuge (often open in winter, too) that Sergio and Daniele Rosi “set” into the rock of this dolomitic group like a precious stone.

Contact & Directions
The hut can be reached only on foot.
The shortest way to reach us in sommer:
- from Pera di Fassa or Vigo di Fassa with lifts;
- from the arrival station of the lifts reach Gardeccia, 1950 m (45 minutes);
- proceed to Vajolet and Preuss huts, 2240 m (1 hour);
- continue along the Vajolet valley to Principe pass, 2600 m, where you will find our hut (1.10 hours).
Alternative ways to reach us in sommer:
- from Campitello with shuttle bus to Micheluzzi hut, then on foot to Antermoia hut and finally to us (3.45 hours);
- from Lavina Bianca pssing by Bergamo hut (5 hours);
- from Alpe di Siusi/Compatsch, passing by Alpe di Tires hut (4.15 hours).
Reaching us in winter requires nivology knoledge and appropriate equipment, because of avalanche risk. For infos: principe.rosi@gmail.com

Payment Conditions
Some useful information:
- in alpine huts it is a good habit to arrive by 6 pm; please call us if you will be late. Dinner for everybody at 6.30 pm;
- we provide only dorms with 8-10 beds each;
- please bring with you a travel liner; if you do not have one, you can borrow it by us (€ 3,00);
- half-board € 56,00; sleeping (breakfast included) € 40,00;
- call us at least 2 days in advance to cancel your booking because of bad weather conditions (meteotrentino.it);
