Information
The Alpenrose refuge is located in a sunny position on the first slopes of Monte Prada in San Lorenzo in Banale in the Giudicarie valleys. An asphalted road leads directly to the refuge.
It is the starting point for many pleasant excursions on the grassy expanses of Prada or for more demanding excursions to Val Ambiez along the Bregain fork or the Val di Ceda and the Pedrotti refuge along the Val Dorè and Val Mezzadora.
The kitchen offers traditional Trentino dishes revisited in a modern key.

Contact & Directions
By car on an asphalt road from the village of San Lorenzo in Banale, about 3 km away. By foot, starting from San Lorenzo in Banale (place Berghi) on a cobbled lane through the woods (1 hour, difficulty E); or from Senaso, another hamlet in San Lorenzo in Banale's district, to Le Mase on SAT footpaths 34b and 351 (1 hour and 20 minutes, difficulty E).

Host information
The refuge is managed by a young boy from the village, thanks to his hotel training he will ensure that you can enjoy the best of typical mountain cuisine, made of traditional flavors revisited in a sophisticated key.
The team that supports him is also young and full of enthusiasm, young people who love their work and who have found in the experience of the refuge a way to combine the passion for nature and the desire to get involved, positively facing the difficulties which can arise daily in such an "isolated" environment but which at the same time gives a unique balance of its kind, where time expands and the mountains transmit their millenary wisdom to you.
We therefore invite you to move away from the usual city routine and share these emotions with us.
Payment Conditions
Sheets and bathroom linen included.
The rooms are equipped with sink and bidet inside, the bathrooms are shared.
However, we assign to each booking a private bathroom (located in the corridor of the floor) and therefore outside the room.
Precisely for this reason the availability of the rooms is highly reduced.
Info on the timetable of the Rifugio:
Check in from 3.00pm to 5.00pm, notify the refuge if your arrival is after 5.00pm.
In case of delayed arrival not notified we don't garantee the dinner service.
Check out within 10am
Dinner is served at 7.00pm
Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9.30am
You can reach the Rifugio by car or walking (3,5 km from the center of San Lorenzo in Banale)
