By Air
The most convenient airports for Avio are Valerio Catullo in Verona (VRN), approximately 35 km away, and Caravaggio in Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY). From both, you can reach the main train stations (Verona Porta Nuova, Milano Centrale) by shuttle bus and then continue by train.
By Train
Avio has its own well-connected train station. There are direct trains from Trento (about 34 minutes) and Rovereto. From Verona and other cities, you can arrive by regional trains or, for high-speed, to Verona or Trento and then take a regional train. The Avio station is about 2.5 km from the Castle.
By Bus
Avio is served by local bus lines such as B334 and B335 by Trentino Trasporti, which connect it to Rovereto and other districts. For detailed schedules, check the Trentino Trasporti website.
By Car
Reaching Avio by car is easy via the A22 Brenner Highway. Take the Ala – Avio exit and follow the signs. The Castle of Avio is clearly visible from the highway.
