It’s an easy climb to the peak of Panarotta from the Rifugio Erterle via Malga Masi and the Sella della Bassa, which lies between Panarotta and Monte Fravort (1 ½ hours, difficulty E). The ascent of Monte Fravort takes 2 hours 50 minutes (difficulty E). Taking the forest road that begins near the refuge, you can get to the little church of Sant’Osvaldo, dedicated to the fallen of the Great War (1 hour, difficulty E).

The refuge can be accessed from Roncegno by following the SP65 Panoramica Valsugana road in the direction of “Passo Manghen” for 2 km. At Montebello turn left and continue for 8 km following the directions for Cinquevalli, Rifugio Erterle.
