A historical refuge in the heart of the Dolomites that, for over 100 years, has offered a starting point for numerous walks and climbs into an enchanting landscape.
It is surrounded by a succession of meadows, forests and majestic crags that can be explored with easy walks for the whole family, protected “Vie Ferrate” and classic or modern climbs for all difficulty levels.
The Catinaccio – “Rosengarten” in German – is one of nine mountain groups with UNESCO World Heritage Site recognition for its landscape and geological value.
With an easy access with the Ciampedie lifts and then by foot for about 45 minutes, it allows you to spend some time away from the traffic soaking up the peace and the beautiful panorama. In addition to overnight accommodation, the mountain hut offers a café and restaurant service, Wi-Fi in the public areas and a small library for rainy days.

From Vigo di Fassa take the Ciampedìe cable car then walk along footpath no. 540 (40 minutes, difficulty E). Walk from where the road is closed just above the settlement of Muncion (1 hour 40 min, difficulty E).

Payment Conditions
Stays from 1st November 2015 will be charged a tourist tax.
The tourist tax is an amount that must be paid at the accommodation for stays from 1 to 10 nights in addition to the price of the holiday booked.
Check-in is possible from 3 p.m and we kindly ask you to arrive before 6 p.m. On the day of departure the room must be vacated before 10 a.m.
