The origins, Paolo and Giuseppina Castellani
After having worked for Franz Josef Oesterreicher in the Grand Hotel delle Alpi (currently the Des Alpes), in 1951 Paolo and Giuseppina Castellani fulfilled their dream by opening a room rental structure.
In 1958, they decided to turn it into a Guesthouse-Restaurant, and gave it the name of their only daughter Gianna; it is she who runs the business today, alongside Rudy, Christian, Federico and Claudia.
