On the slopes of Fravort and Gronlait, the Rifugio Serot welcomes all who love peacefulness and good food. The refuge has been completely renovated with the addition of two new dining rooms, where guests can eat while gazing through the windows at the views of Monte Ortigara. We’re above Roncegno, at 1,568 metres above sea level, in an area where summer mountain farms abound surrounded by pastures and where the wild slopes of the Lagorai begin.

Walks
From Rifugio Serot you can walk to the Rifugio Erterle in 1 ½ hours (difficulty E). Walk up to Passo della Portela (30 minutes, difficulty E) to get to Lake Erdemolo (3 hours 20 minutes, difficulty E) and to make the ascents of Cima Hoabonti, Monte Colà and Monte Gronlait (care needed, difficulty EE) with their splendid views.

Contact & Directions
From the village of Roncegno you can get to the refuge in 2 ½ hours on footpath 374, which goes up through the woods passing several farmhouses, difficulty E. Alternatively, you drive up the surfaced road from Roncegno to Pozze, then continue along a forest track to the refuge.
