VALLACCIA
Information
At an altitude of 2,275 m and recognizable by red and white shutters, the refuge is located on the high pastures at the foot of the Sas da le Undesc. It can only be reached on foot, starting from Val Monzoni. Fatigue is fully rewarded by the panorama, ranging from the Creste di Costabella to the Vernel and the Marmolada with its imposing south face.

from mid-June to early October
Before leaving for your hike, always contact the manager to verify the actual opening of the mountain hut

From Pozza di Fassa drive up Val San Nicolò to Malga Crocifisso (parking); from there continue on the forestry track to Malga Monzoni, where you take SAT footpath 624 (2 ½ hours, difficulty E).
