Belvedere Monte Maggio
Considered one of the most beautiful and at the same time accessible hikes in the Alpe Cimbra, the Giro del Monte Maggio is an itinerary that combines nature and historical memory.
Along the way you will find wide views of the surrounding massifs and testimonies of the Great War, which has left indelible marks here.
The summit of Monte Maggio, at 1,853 meters, welcomes visitors with a large cross that commemorates the fallen of the conflict.
From this panoramic point, the view extends from Monte Baldo to the Brenta Dolomites, up to Pasubio, with its iconic peaks: the Col Santo, the Italian and Austrian Teeth, Cima Palon and the Borcola pass.
Strength: on clear days, the gaze can go as far as the Veneto-Vicenza plain and even see the reflection of the sun on the Venice lagoon.
