Bivacco Vigolana
A corner of peace and contemplation immersed in a landscape that captivates those who love the mountain in all its nuances.
An ideal place for those who want to experience the thrill of a walk through woods and Dolomite gravel or try their hand at climbing the spectacular spire of the Madonnina.
From Frisanchi, the highest hamlet of the ancient municipality of Centa San Nicolò, the route starts along the forest road that leads to the sat 444 path.
From here we cross path 445, which rises from Malga Doss del Bue.
A little further on, a natural stop at "La Polsa", a small shaded plateau, introduces you to the mughal area and the suggestive gravels of the Val Larga.
The walk leads to the foot of the majestic Cima Vigolana, from where you can admire the Bivouac and the famous spires of the Madonna and the Friar.
The Bivouac, rebuilt in 2016 with an innovative inverted pyramid trunk design, offers a bright and welcoming interior, enriched by five large glass surfaces that offer unique views. From here the view spans three territories: the Vigolana Plateau and the Marzola in front, the Valsugana on the right and the Val d 'Adige with Trento on the left.
Strength: the breathtaking 360° view and the avant-garde architecture of the Bivouac.
