Along the road that leads from Passo Campo Carlo Magno to Malga Mondifrà, as in the locality of Fontanella in Madonna di Campiglio, the structures once used for the production of lime are still visible today.
In the first case it is well recognizable thanks to restoration work, in the second there are some remnants of masonry. Within the local economies of the past, in fact, there is also the production of lime, a useful material in the construction field, such as for the enrichment of feed, for the fertilization of fields, for cleaning clothes and for disinfecting.
