Tret Lake is an artificial lake found near the hamlet of Tret - an outlying municipal district of Fondo - located in the north-eastern corner of the Val di Non, once part of the province of Bolzano. The lake is 10,000 m² in size. To reach it, drive to the Scoiattolo Refuge in Le Plaze di Tret, taking the turn for the Palade Pass on the state road near Hotel Le Ciaspole. In winter it can be reached by snowshoes. Leave the car in the parking lot and take path no. 512, with its 350 m drop. The lake is just an hour away on foot. A mountain hut and a dairy are available nearby for refreshments.
