Difficulty: EEA (experienced hikers with equipment)
The idea of connecting the southern and northern parts of the Brenta Dolomites Group via a high-altitude panoramic path arose many years ago.
Well-known mountaineers and local alpine guides designed and built, exploiting the numerous ledges that wrap around the sides of the imposing and impressive Dolomite complex, an aerial crossing that passes through the numerous passes called “bocchette” that open between the dizzying walls of the peaks and towers present, without climbing any summit of these.
The construction took place in stages; various sections of the path were built, which together, once completed, would give life and shape to the “Via delle Bocchette,” the most evocative and spectacular route in the entire Dolomitic region.
It offers, thanks to the equipment with via ferrata ladders and fixed ropes, even less experienced hikers, provided they are secured with a via ferrata kit, the possibility of hiking and discovering and admiring the grand and vertical world of the Brenta Dolomites, leaving climbers to ascend walls on the summits of this wonderful world.
