Ferrata di San Silvestro

Brand new via ferrata that from the bottom of the Primiero valley (municipality of Imer) reaches the viewpoint of the small church of San Silvestro

The Ferrata di San Silvestro, built in 2025, takes its name from the small church, located halfway up Mount Totoga, above the route. It is a fairly short ferrata of mostly "easy" level with some "moderately difficult" passages. It is divided into two sections: a first section with a moderately difficult start and then becoming easy lasting about 20 minutes. The second section lasts about 25 minutes, also of easy level with a couple of slightly exposed passages of "moderately difficult" level. The attack is reached in less than 5 minutes from the parking lot.
It is suitable for beginners and hikers who are looking for an easy approach equipped route that is undemanding from all points of view: short approach, short ferrata duration, low exposure, minimal overall physical commitment, low-elevation development, and quick return.

The ferrata becomes an excellent way to reach the small church of San Silvestro, dating back to the 13th century and a vantage point from which there is a unique view of the entire Primiero valley.
