At first, the ascent might make you work a little, but as the trail becomes more level, you'll find yourself surrounded by a pristine landscape, gleaming with snow. Yet, no matter how many times you've already reached it, the Fuciade basin always manages to surprise. This territory was once the pastureland of Soraga, where the meadows provided hay for the winter. Numerous barns once stood here - the famous "baic" - now restored and transformed into rustic mountain chalets. One of these is your destination: Rifugio Fuciade, which has preserved the soul of the place and passed it on to new generations. Dropping by is a must!
