This family tour starts in Dro, where you find the first and only ascent: the one leading to Loc. Oltra, on unpaved road. After this, the trail continue to the small Lake Bagatol, famous for fishing. At the former Power Plant of Fies, you bike on the cycle path back to Dro.

The fist ascent is not very hard, but in some points the slope is more than 10%.

If you want to bike more, continue to Pietramurata. There you will find the information to come back along the cycle path!

    Roadbook

This trail is fun and varied with gentle uphill and downhill sections and stretches along the flat. You set off from piazza della Repubblica, the main square in Dro. Head down via Cesare Battisti following directions for Oltra where you will come to a football pitch. Cycle along the asphalt and stay on the main road. Cross the bridge and after the bend take the first left in the direction of the “sentiero delle Cavre” trail. Here you are on a compact dirt road which winds up and down hill. The final stretch is quite steep and leads to a viewing point. From here you can admire the Sarca valley with the castles of Arco and Drena. Head downhill again on a dirt road and turn right when you come to the junction. You will soon come to Lake Bagattoli where you can stop for a rest. You come to the end of the dirt track and are back on asphalt again. Turn left at the stop sign and cycle along the footpath as far as the traffic light. Cross the road and turn left into the main road where you cycle a short distance along the footpath till you come to the start of the cycle path (asphalt surface). On your right cross the bridge over the River Sarca and you come to   what was once Fies power station. Turn right and head down the cycle path. You cycle through the Marocche, a nature reserve of great geological interest and through the pine wood along the banks of the River Sarca which is on your right. Further on, as you get nearer to Dro, your surroundings change and you find yourself cycling through vineyards. Once you reach Dro, follow directions for the cycle path. At the roundabout, turn right and you are back to the point you left from.
