An easy trail on the splendid mountain ridge that divides Val d’Adige from Val di Non. This itinerary along a section of the famous “Sentiero Italia” (Italian Trail), continuously rising and falling across open woods, provides a view that conceals all that is man-made from view, allowing you to forget that you are just a few kilometres from built-up areas…until you reach the summit, which affords a breathtaking view through 360° of both valleys.

From Predaia Refuge, take the gravel road (trail marker 503) that keeps to a false plain as it crosses meadows and young woods, which bear witness to nature’s advance on lands which were once used by man. The trail then climbs up through a wooded area leading to Malga Rodeza. Continue along gravel road 503, then onto a footpath, until you take Sentiero Italia (Italian Trail - trail marker 500 S.I) which in an hour’s walk and with the last section slightly steeper, leads you to the grassy summit of Corno di Tres.
Corno di Tres (1812 m a.s.l.) is a strategic point where you can admire the view through 360°: the Val d’Adige, the North-Western Dolomites, Pampeago, the Lavazè Pass, Mount
Bondone, Paganella, the Brenta Group and the Maddalena chain. The return leg of the loop begins on trail 500 on the ridge, which descends towards the North and after the panoramic points under Corno del Cervo (Stag’s Horn), take a trail leading down from the left that joins the gravel road with trail marker 526 and takes you swiftly back to Malga Rodeza. From here, you return to Predaia Refuge “ai Todès-ci” the same way you came.
