The start and finish of the ValdiNon Bike are in the wide clearing of Cavareno near the Tennis Halle. From the village, you immediately tackle the area of the Mendola Pass, with 3 km of climbing and 250 meters of elevation gain not to be underestimated. In another 4 km or so, you reach the Waldheim locality, descending to 1200 meters altitude. Now begins a fun up-and-down at altitude, up to the highest point of Monte Arsen at 1300 meters. This is followed by a steep 3 km descent and then further down to Lago Smeraldo near Fondo. We are almost halfway through the route. Now the Val di Non Bike changes pace, becoming much faster and less technical. You pass the villages of Sarnonico, Romeno and Don, before returning to Cavareno and closing the circuit after 43 km and 1250 meters of ascent.
The sixth edition of the ValdiNon Bike held on May 4, 2014, was won by Johann Pallhuber who finished in 01:43:48.22, and by Lorenza Menapace from Trentino at 02:11:20.55 from the start!
