A loop route that gently climbs up to the foot of Monte Roen and then returns passing by the relaxing Ruffrè ponds.
<p>The malga of Romeno is a classic destination for trips in the Val di Non. The ascent is on asphalt for the first stretch and then dirt, with a gradient that is never too steep. The descent passes by Rifugio Mezzavia and then crosses shady woods down to the Ruffrè ponds, before returning to the beautiful historic center of Cavareno.</p>

Directions
From the Trento Nord exit of the A22 motorway, take the SS43 state road towards the Val di Non and Val di Sole. Upon reaching the Dermulo junction, keep right to climb the SS42 towards Passo della Mendola until you reach the town of Cavareno.Parking
The sports center of Cavareno offers a large free parking area (5 minutes on foot from the town square).
Another free parking near the historic center is located close to the dairy.
