The marmots of Cima d'Asta

<p>The thematic trail LE MARMOTTE DI CIMA D&#039; ASTA starts from Località Sorgazza in the municipality of Pieve Tesino. The first installation is located near the artificial lake with splendid turquoise-green waters, it continues on the small forest road that leads to the locality Teleferica Brusà and then develops entirely on path 327 that ends at the Cima d&#039; Asta Refuge.</p>

<p>The trail has a total development of about 6 kilometers with about 1000 meters of elevation gain.</p> <p>Tackling such a trail means undertaking considerable physical exertion, and athletic preparation must be taken into account before tackling this experience.</p> <p>It is possible to walk part of the route and retrace one&#039;s steps to return to the Malga Sorgazza Parking Area.</p> <p>The &#039;ascent to Rifugio Cima d&#039; Asta and walking the Thematic Trail in its entirety will be a formidable experience only if approached with the right equipment, the right training and appropriate clothing for the type of hike.</p>
