Trekking to Lago delle Malghette

<p>Easy trekking to the beautiful Lago delle Malghette with views of the Dolomites</p>

<p>From the Malga Zeledria parking lot (1767m), follow the forest road ascending towards Rifugio Pradalago. After about 200m, cross a stream and leave the dirt road to take a path on the right marked with "Lago delle Malghette" signs. Follow the well-trodden path crossing a clearing and connect to the forest road leading to the Palù della Fava locality. Near a chair carved from a fir trunk, continue left along the forest road (trail mark 201). Follow it close to Malga Vigo (connection to Madonna di Campiglio – Folgarida Marilleva lifts). Then follow the path towards Lago Malghette (trail mark 201), and in about 15 minutes, reach the charming Rifugio delle Malghette built like the old huts with a terrace overlooking the lake. From here, it is recommended to circle the northern shore of the lake, ignoring on the right the path climbing to Monte Vigo – Rifugio Orso Bruno, and continue on the path leading to Malga Piano (1909m), located on a sunny plateau on the lake’s northern shore.
