The walk is also suitable for children who in summer can encounter some cows and horses grazing undisturbed. The view of the Adamello Brenta Group and the wild Maddalene chain always accompanies in the background. The colors and scents of nature dominate this itinerary, for the whole family.

    Author’s recommendation

The Bicigrill of Sarnonico and the shaded playground of Romeno are great reasons to stop.

    Tips and suggestions

It is also possible to do the route by bike.

    Roadbook

From the center of Fondo, descend towards the small hamlet of Vasio. At the fork, proceed left following the wooden signs. Always stay on the path which runs parallel to the towns of Fondo, Malosco, Sarnonico, Cavareno and Romeno. Upon reaching the center of the latter, return first by taking an additional loop to the Sunny Ranch farm, where you can admire the horses or take a ride on their backs, and then return to the original route always following the signs. Finally, return along the same road admiring the mountains, the green meadows, the serenity of the expanse, some friendly animals, and some curious ancient fruit plants. At any time you can return to the starting point on the same path you came from.
