It is a route without technical difficulties that runs entirely through the forest on never too steep slopes. It reaches the lovely hunters' hut called Tillhittl situated in a large sunny meadow.

    Author’s recommendation

Those who want to walk a bit more can reach the large panoramic promontory called Schönegg in another 20 minutes.

    Roadbook

After parking the car, cross the road and take the paved road that goes up towards the forest. Shortly after, the road becomes a forest road marked nr. 56. Continue uphill along the forest road for about 1.5 km until the junction with a path branching off to the left from the forest road. This path is also marked with nr. 56. The path crosses the stream over a wooden bridge and then climbs up the forest skirting the protected landscape area called Höllental (Hell Valley).

Shortly before reaching the hut, the path emerges onto a forest road. Here continue straight, first flat and then uphill, now following the trail nr. 58 towards the Schönegg summit. Climbing, a large meadow cleared of trees and the Tillhittl hut in the centre is visible on the left.

The return follows the same way as the outward journey.
