    Author’s recommendation

It’s worth stopping to sample the typical cuisine in the Regole di Malosco refuges.

    Safety information

There are no particular stretches to watch out for other than possible icy sections en route.

    Roadbook

The route starts just before Rifugio Regole, the first of three restaurants on the way to Regole di Malosco.

Follow the track that passes some pretty chalets and then ascends gently into a small wood. You then descend, still on a forest road, to Paradiso area.

If you cross the main road carefully, a few minutes’ walk brings you to the picturesque village of Ruffrè.
