Molveno hosts in January 2025 the 6th Ice Water Swimming World Championships
with the support of IISA, International Ice Swimming Association
The icy water swimming competitions will take place in a 50-metre pool with water temperature below 5 degrees. Athletes will only wear a swimming costume (not wetsuit), swimming cap and goggles.
During the five days of competition, more than 500 athletes from over 35 nations will compete over various distances ranging from 50 to 1000 metres in all disciplines (freestyle, butterfly, etc.).
