On 27 December, Lusérn lights up with atmosphere and memory during Christmas at the Haus von Prükk, a unique event that transforms the historic farmhouse – now a precious ethnographic museum – into a true treasure chest of living traditions. For one day, thanks to the heartfelt participation of local residents and institutions, ancient Cimbrian customs come alive once again within its wooden rooms.
Crossing the threshold of the Haus von Prükk, visitors will find themselves immersed in the warmth of the past: the filò by the fire crackling in the hearth, lace-makers bent over their bobbins, the scent of traditional homemade sweets, the lit fireplace, the stove with slow-cooking soup, and the gentle rhythm of everyday life as it once was.

Adding even more depth to the experience are the tales of Cimbrian legends, narrated by those who safeguard the memory of this unique community. Christmas at the Haus von Prükk is not just a reenactment, but a gesture of love toward one’s history—a celebration of community spirit and the desire to keep the traditions of this special land alive.

An afternoon of magic at Haus von Prükk with:

Traditional music
The enchanting notes of the zampognaro Lagarò and his bagpipe will fill Haus von Prükk with ancient and evocative sounds. A magical soundtrack that will accompany adults and children on a journey suspended in time, among flickering lights and Christmas atmospheres.

The arrival of Santa Claus
Directly from his journey through snow and stars, Santa Claus will make his entrance at Haus von Prükk. He will listen to the children’s wishes, share smiles, and give moments of pure wonder, turning the afternoon into a fairytale encounter that will remain in everyone’s heart.

Christmas as it once was
The museum rooms will come alive with typical scenes and activities:

• The filò by the fireplace, with stories, warmth, and flickering sparks

• Lace makers at work on their bobbins, guardians of ancient knowledge

• The legends of Lusérn narrated by the residents, to relive timeless traditions and stories

Mulled wine for adults
A warm glass of mulled wine, prepared according to the ancient Trentino recipe, will accompany adults among aromas and authentic flavors, wrapping the palate and heart in the magic of winter.

Hot tea for children
Children will find a cup of warm, fragrant tea waiting for them, perfect to fully immerse themselves in the Christmas atmosphere.
