A programme of performances and talks with artists and theatre companies from different countries held across the city’s theatres, gardens, museums, and squares.
Oriente Occidente Dance Festival, in its 46th edition, livens up the city of Rovereto from the 3rd to the 12th of September, 2026, continuing a three-year initiative started in 2025, dedicated to a human perspective that puts human bodies at its centre: in their less represented narratives, in less visible spaces, and in their multi-faceted identities.
Accessibility and sustainability
Oriente Occidente promotes initiatives intertwining accessibility and sustainability. As a result it has implemented, over the years, a tangible system of actions to compensate and reduce the impact on the environment. Among other things, the entire initiative strictly employs energy produced from renewable, certified sources (100% Energia Pulita Dolomiti Energia), main partner of sustainability. Such commitment is officially recognized by the “Eco Eventi del Trentino” sustainability label, awarded to the Festival in 2019 for its ecological commitment (find out more).
