Valle del Centa’s Chestnut Festival
The 24th and 25th of October the events area of Centa San Nicolò (TN) becomes the beating heart of autumn in Trentino: here the chestnut, true symbol of the Valle del Centa, returns to tell its story, made of tradition, nature, and community.Walking along the paths of the forest and its over 800 ancient chestnut trees, one immerses oneself in a landscape that smells of wood and golden leaves. Once a source of livelihood for families, today the chestnut is celebrated as a treasure of the territory: a genuine fruit, rich in energy and nutrients, that holds the memory of those who have preserved it over the centuries. At the heart of the festival, the gastronomic stand invites you on a sensory journey:

The Festival is not just taste, but a total experience:
- the farmers' market with products from the valley,
- the culinary trekking and walks along the Chestnut Path, immersed in the colors of the foliage,

- moments of music, gatherings, and tradition that make every visitor feel part of the community.
