Campiglio Ski Area News 2025/2026

The “Ideal Number” project: the resort is setting new standards by optimizing skier flow and limiting the number of daily ski passes during peak periods such as New Year’s and Carnival.  On certain high season days the ski area will open earlier, between 7:30 and 8:00.

Renovated Col Rodella Ski lift in Campitello in December 2025

A brand-new 3S lift—an advanced triple-cable system—will be equipped with18 spacious cabins, each up to 30 passengers. This next-generation cableway ensures fast, smooth, and high-capacity transport. In less than six minutes, hikers, bikers, and skiers can reach the high-altitude areas of Col Rodella. Opening is scheduled for December 2025.

Latemar Dolomites–Pampeago: new 10-seater Latemar gondola replaces historic chairlift.  Obereggen: new Absam Stube and 6-seater Absam-Maierl chairlift unveiled. Bellamonte Alpe Lusia: new car park and safer Fraina toboggan run. Cavalese – Alpe Cermis: renovated Paion mountain hut with panoramic Dolomite views. Passo Oclini: upgraded snowmaking system.

Trento Christmas Markets: from November 21 until January 6, 2026

The Trento Christmas Market with its characteristic little houses is located in the heart of the city, in Piazza Fiera and Piazza Mostra. For the little ones, a must-see is Piazza Dante, with its Enchanted Father Christmas Village.  After a stroll through the Christmas Markets, just a half-hour drive takes you to the ski slopes of Monte Bondone — perfect for cross-country skiers and downhill beginners.

Rovereto & Vallagarina

Christmas in Rovereto: from November 22 until January 6, 2026

The city of Rovereto will host the traditional Christmas market stalls of the Christmas Village where visitors can buy local handicrafts and enjoy a cup of spiced mulled wine as well as traditional dishes and sweets. The Children’s Village in Largo Vittime delle Foibe and the Elves’ Village in Piazza Malfatti also make their return this year.
