Straddled between Trentino and the Veneto, Grigno abounds in woods and meadows

Grigno and its innumerable outlying municipal districts mark the border with the Veneto region. The town stretches out over the Marcesina Plateau and abounds in woods, pastures and Alpine farm-houses. This summer tourist destination is especially renowned among speleologists for its numerous natural caves - some of which remarkably large in size. Tourists can also enjoy healthy walks throughout the peaceful natural landscape of the town. River Grigno - under Cinte Tesino - is ideal for those who enjoy canyoning.
The Grotte della Bigonda e del Calgeron, the Church of San Ulbarico della Vecchia Pieve in San Giacomo Maggiore and the Church of S. Anthony of Padua, the Castelloni di San Marco and the Fontanazzo biotope, in addition to the Dalmeri shelter on the Marcesina plateau are truly worth visiting. And the Curva Cliff is much loved by climbers.
