Val di Rabbi. still sparsely anthropized, is rich in pastures, mountain pastures and refuges that dot the landscape, but above all it is rich in water: streams, waterfalls, small lakes and the precious thermal spring that feeds the Terme itself. A dense network of trails winds from the valley floor to the peaks that exceed 3,000 meters, providing unique views and authentic mountain glimpses. From the Saènt Waterfalls, to the Suspension Bridge, from the Monumental Larch Trail, to the many lakes that characterize the Valley.
The water of Terme di Rabbi gushes out purest from the mountains of the Ortles-Cevedale Group and is rich in carbon dioxide.
It is effective in the treatment of arthro-rheumatic diseases, vascular diseases, ENT, gastrointestinal diseases and in states of anemia in children and adults. It can be taken as a drink or used in baths, aerosols and phlebology courses, which are excellent for the treatment of “cellulitis” and relief in cases of venous insufficiency and stasis. The Ancient Spring has been known since the 17th century for its healing properties, which benefited, among others, the local nobility, the Austro-Hungarian court and Empress Maria Theresa of Austria.
The Stelvio National Park provides the backdrop for new forms of nature-based tourist and therapeutic itineraries, in which spa treatments are combined with barefoot trails in the forest, with stretches crossing the Rabbiès stream that aim at vascular and muscular well-being and energy recovery.
