Malga di Fondo

The Malga di Fondo is ideally located halfway between two of the most characteristic mountain lakes of the Val di Non: Lake Smeraldo and the alpine lake of Tret.

The mountain hut can be reached from Fondo by car on the forest road to the parking area below, while from Lake Tret it can be reached on foot. Located, in fact, at almost 1500 meters, it is ideally located halfway between two of the most characteristic mountain lakes of the Val di Non: Lake Smeraldo, and the alpine lake of Tret. The hut offers an excellent restaurant service with traditional Trentino dishes and is the ideal place for children who can get to know the many animals it houses: cows, horses, donkeys, chickens and pigs.
