Cavizzana is the tiniest town of Val di Sole, and it stands alone in the lower valley on the right bank of the Noce stream.
It is not part of the traditional tourist itineraries, yet the breath-taking beauty of its nature makes of it an ideal base to reach the Folgarida-Marilleva e Madonna di Campiglio ski areas.
The parish church, dedicated to St. Martino, is built in the Gothic style, or rather, in the "Alpine/Val di Sole" style, featuring a characteristic bell tower covered with wooden shingles.
