The gardens are owned by the Municipality of Folgaria, and are managed by the Civic Museum of Rovereto. They are a real treasure trove of natural wonders, by a breathtaking Alpine landscape. The garden houses local plants only, scattered along a number of trails, where visitors can enjoy a stroll following sign-posted pastures, geomorphologic phenomena - such as the collapse dolines - as well as giant anthills, Alpine pools and any other feature an Alpine environment may boast. The gardens houses a logistical centre acting as a hub for various themed trails: Sentiero Carreggiato, Sentiero della Pozza Alpina, Sentiero del Bosco and Sentiero del Pascolo.
