Ladin Museum Fassa
Are you looking for something to do in Val di Fassa that both adults and children will enjoy? Step inside the Museo Ladin de Fascia and discover a world where the past comes to life.
In a modern, interactive setting, you can explore the history of the valley and the Ladin community, from prehistoric times right up to the present day. Through traditions, legends, crafts and key historical moments, you’ll discover how people once lived and how this culture is still alive and thriving today. Along the way, 18 interactive stations await you, featuring over 70 short films: choose what to explore in more depth and shape your visit in a dynamic and engaging way. In the final room, a story comes to life on a large immersive screen: "La vivana scacciata", one of the most fascinating tales from the Fassa tradition.
For those who love a challenge, there's also the Pigui Experience, a virtual reality game that takes you back 2,400 years to the valley’s earliest inhabitants. Put on the headset and embark on an adventure that combines archaeology with interactive missions. The experience lasts around 20-30 minutes and is suitable for children aged 9 and over.
The Ladin Museum is not just a single site: across the valley, you can also visit five local sections, housed in historic buildings connected to traditional ways of life, including mills, sawmills and old rural structures.
By taking part in the activities and guided tours - also included in the Val di Fassa Guest Card - you can enjoy an even richer and more immersive experience.
